Generative AI refers to use of the artificial intelligence to generate text, image, videos or other data from the large amount of dataset. which learn the hidden pattern and create new content from large amount of dataset. its actually use deep learning algorithm to train the model. let's take example of text, text model takes large dataset of text and learn by itself .based on the text model generate the whole story, paragraphs or literature etc. generative AI has potential application, including creating new art, music, literature, video, images etc. but it also raises some issue such copyright or ownership of content. also lead to misuse of the technology.
There are many different types Generative AI model. each designed to generate different type of content. let's take look at them.
1. Text : This includes the language models, that takes large amount text dataset and generate the small test snippet, article or literature. some time it also uses the natural language processing tools.
example: Chatbots, Translator, Chatgpt etc.
2. Image generation: This include generative adversarial network (GAN) to generate the new images, such as realistic faces or landscapes
example : Artbreeder, thispersondoesnotexist etc.
3.Video generation: This include GAN that used to generate the new video or deepfake video. it create a video by combing and editing existing video footage.
example : elai.io, flexclip etc.
4. Music generation: this uses generative AI models to generate music based on some set of rules or predefined rules. they often use in music generation and sound design.
example: Magenta project from Google.
This Generative AI changing the world constantly. This generative AI used in content suggestion, image generation, healthcare, Education, Gaming and in Automation as well. this helps to reduce human intervention in generation, also reduce the cost ,time ,money and storage. in the past it due to lack of resources it was hard to implement but today with powerful hardware and software or with different technology it is easy to implement.
